Our Journey
In 2008, driven by an unwavering commitment to Ma’di ideals and a profound desire to serve, a group of young minds embarked on a journey that would lay the foundation for Amani Youth Organization. From the heart of South Sudan and Uganda, we found a new home in Dallas, Texas, and a shared purpose in fostering unity, providing leadership training, and championing the rich heritage of the Ma’di people.
Our Mission
The core mission of the Amani Youth Organization revolves around creating a lasting institution that unites young minds, imparts valuable leadership skills, and celebrates the rich heritage of the Ma’di people. The founders envisioned a platform that would not only nurture the cultural identity of the Ma’di community but also empower the youth to contribute meaningfully to the society they now call home.
Our Vision
Amani Youth envisions a community where every Ma’di youth is empowered, inspired, and connected. Our commitment extends beyond geographical borders, creating a space that nurtures leaders, celebrates culture, and builds bridges of unity within the United States.
